Echo Deep — Privacy Policy

Echo Deep is a single-player arcade game. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking software of any kind.

What we collect

Only what the online leaderboard needs, and only when you set a name:

• A display name you choose. You type it yourself and it is shown publicly on the leaderboard. It is filtered for offensive content.
• Your best depth (a number, in metres).
• A random identifier generated on your device the first time you play, so the leaderboard can recognise your own entry and keep your personal best. It is a random string. It is not your Apple ID, your device ID, your advertising identifier, or anything that identifies you personally.

What we do not collect

No name from your device, no email address, no contacts, no photos, no location, no advertising identifier, no usage analytics, and no crash tracking. We cannot identify you from the data we hold.

How it is used

Solely to display the leaderboard inside the game. It is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or profiling.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare infrastructure, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your best depth and settings are also stored locally on your own device.

Children

Echo Deep is suitable for all ages. Because the only text a player can enter is a public display name, that field is filtered for profanity and impersonation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the local data and the random identifier. To have your leaderboard entry removed, email the address below with the display name you used and we will delete it.
